138 Miles Later

Your basic afternoon flight home after spending a weekend with my new honey in San Francisco…we decided it would be nice to cap off the experience. Since I’m the analytical one, I figured we should wait until after the first beverage service but before lunch was served (the movie started right away).

Takeoff time was 2PM PST, and by 2:45 I left for the aft lavatory (we were in seats 10F and 10G, perilously close to the fore lavatories, but, you know, can’t just waltz in there). Chatted up a couple of flight attendants, ordered another drink, and waited patiently for my lover to arrive. Lunch service began, Rick arrived, claiming to actually need to use the restroom, but of course, with the door ajar. I joined him, and about 138 miles later (550MPH/4 min.), voila! Got caught by one woman exiting, but what could she say? I left for my seat, and when Rick returned, I asked him what he said to her. He said he just looked her straight in the eye, as if to dare her to ask what had just happened.

Well, we’re planning our next excursion, leaving for Kona, HI, via Los Angeles on 4/8. Two 4-hour legs–plenty of time for more MHC shenanigans
