Auto Pilot

At the time I flew a nightly cargo run in a Baron 58, hauling canceled checks. My girlfriend was a private pilot, and she would ride with me from time to time. One night we started fondling each other as we descended into Oklahoma City. On the next leg to Dallas, she wanted to do more than just fondle, and who was I to refuse?

After leveling off and engaging the auto pilot, we slid our seats back to make room. We both had headsets on, so we had to be careful not to tangle the cords. I sat in the left seat, and she sat in my lap facing me.

While we were going at it, center called with a frequency change. I had to reach around her on one side to answer the controller, and reach around the other side to change frequencies. It was rather awkward, to say the least.

It was an incredible rush, watching the stars and lights on the ground as we made love, but it had to come to an end. We were still getting things put away as I was getting vectored for the approach at Love Field in Dallas. Quite an appropriate airport name considering what we had just done. It was a flight I’ll never forget!
