It happened in a Cessna 421 in the mid 1970’s as two of my friends and I entertained three girls we picked up in Dallas and took to Galveston, Tx for diner and drinks. We were based in Oklahoma City at the time and droppped in to Dallas just to pick up three girls. On to Galveston for diner and wine, except me, and a night flight back to Dallas. Next thing I knew? Why all of the emphasis on red-eye flights? I joined the mile high club when I was 17, flying from San Francisco to Newark in the middle of the day with my boyfriend and my mother. There is a company in Australia doing Mile High Clubs over Perth. A local TV statioout shaking his head and laughing, we explained to her what the Mile High Club was! I’ve never seen anyone so embarassed in my life. Oh yeah – she vowed then to become a member and has recently followed through!

What a fun website…and I am a member o’ the club!! I was poking fun at 6000 feet over Lake Billy Chinook in eastern Oregon. I was flying a Cessna 175, no auto pilot… just minor whoop-dee-doos as the sun was setting in the west behind Mt Jefferson! The only thing more magnificent would be watching the sunrise… how sweet it is!

Do you have any intentions of allowing Intimate Tales on your sight, when NASA or the Russians fess up ?I donot believe all those Nasa Cam feeds blink out for no reason what so ever!Bet the Russians could buy their way to prosperity on their Footage alone !! I tried to hit on a couple of your pages, and found they were blank. I am glad tht I had a better experience in the air. Any idea when you’ll get the pages up to par? Keep up the GREAT work – Somebody has to do it!

MHC’s Response: Sorry about that, Walt. The pages that came up blank were probably those we designed with frames. To view frames, you need at least version 2.0 of Netscape or 3.0 of IE — even AOL supports them with version 3.0 of their browser. The good news is that we have modified those pages so they will render even if your browser is not frames capable. So please take another look!

Jer/Eberhard and I have disagreed about the location for the rules right from the getgo. I believe that they are more properly placed in part 91, and Jer in part 61. Since I wrote the part 91 rules back in 1967, I wonder if you would consider cobbling up the system by posting the 14 CFR 91 stuff I did a long time ago. Of course, they are going to have to be rewritten for current political correctness — the Anita Bryant award for participants with the same optional equipment is going to have to be transmogrified somehow.
