Mid Air Collision

My wife and I were on our way back from a funeral of all things when the moment struck us. It was a beautiful spring afternoon with large puffy cumulus and a cobalt blue sky. The plane we were in had a Century 3 axis autopilot which allowed for complete hands off operation. We were also IFR which allowed for concentration on other things besides flying. I slid between the two seats and took my pants off, with thoughts alternating between anticipating my wife’s warm flesh and what the NTSB would make of our partially clad bodies. It was an incredible experience, inspite of ( or maybe especially!) having to respond on the radio… “89 Victor roger, we have the traffic in sight” Talk about a mid-air collision!
