The Story: On 18th February 2020 we boarded a plane from Geneva to Marrakesh for our first holiday together. We had met just over a month ago in Bern, Switzerland, and had decided to roll the dice on a remote adventure to celebrate his birthday on another continent.

Our connection had been intense and in one of our lengthy conversations I had shared my desire to have sex on a plane – someday, when I met someone who had the courage to try it with me. From the first date on, we had gotten into the nice habit of enabling each other, and so, a month later on our way to the airport, there was no question about what we were about to do. We were both happy and nervous and a little concerned about the additional taboo of the flight heading to a more sexually conservative country.

I had researched a number of useful tactics but they all depended on timing and luck. That is why we were relieved when our seats were among the last few rows – close to the bathroom in the back that we had set our sights on for our adventure. We waited until the food trolley came out, moving from back to front, for a change – a lucky convenience, since that meant it would block passengers from coming to the bathroom for a while. As soon as the trolley had passed us, we got up – condom and cock ring (just in case) in pocket – moved to the back and got into the bathroom, him first and then me, with less than a minute wait time.

The space was tiny with both of us in it. We hurriedly removed the minimal necessary clothes, I faced the door, bending over on a full forward fold and he was behind me. The sex was hurried and neither the taboo-breaking nor my long-harboured fantasies succeeded in making that tiny public toilet a sensual setting, but – it was done! I left the bathroom first, noticing with concern that three men were waiting outside to use the toilet. I was worried that they would try and go in after me, while my companion was still in there waiting for his chance to escape. But they didn’t. They just avoided eye contact and continued to wait. With shocked embarrassment I realised that everyone knew exactly what was going on. To only disturb the aisle passenger in our row once, I could not leave that uncomfortable scene and stood waiting next to our seats, still very close to the bathroom. There, for what felt like the longest 2 minutes, I participated in a ridiculous face-saving charade, where these three huge Arab men and me pretended to be waiting for someone in the bathroom, who was clearly in there just waiting too.

Finally, the stalemate ended. My adventure-companion exited the bathroom and we took our seats. Smiling he turned to me and said «Nice. I don’t think anyone noticed anything at all.»
