I had just obtained my private license a couple of months before. A girlfriend of mine from Miraleste High School asked me for a first time ride in a airplane. The day we took off from Long Beach airport it was a very cloudy day. In fact I had to fly under special rules called special VFR. I really had no business being up there but I could not resist. I climbed to 5,500 ft. over the ocean. She leaned over and started to kiss me. She asked if I wanted to join the mile high club. Well she did not have to ask twice! She sat on my lap and as I tried to dodge the clouds she made passionate love to me. It was a flight I will never forget. After I got down my flight instructor came up to me and asked why the hell I was flying in such bad weather. All I could do is smile 🙂
